Seriously, two years ago I would have never thought about having a Masters degree. The last two years at Boise State have been incredible. I was given opportunities to compose, conduct, teach, research, and run a comprehensive band program. I’ve gained valuable resources, knowledge, and inspiration during my time here. The people I’ve met here have influenced me more than anything. I’ve learned to exceed not because I am better, smarter, stronger, or wiser, but because I understand what it takes to learn, accept information, and mold myself to exceed. Joe Tornello, Jennifer Myers, Joe Boboige, Cord Breuer, Tim Sexton, James B. Harrison, Amy Burden, Derek Ganong and Marcellus Brown thank you for everything! I throughly enjoyed working and learning from each and every one of you. Boise is an amazing city and I am sad my time here has come to an end, but I cannot wait to see what the future holds. Thank you Boise State for being a part of my teaching career. Go Broncos!!
Also want to extend a huge shoutout to the percussion staff at Columbians Drum and Bugle Corps for allowing me to be a part of their team this winter. It was truly an honor to work with such a fine group of gentlemen. Can’t wait to see the final product this summer. Will be cheering you guys on from the East coast!
